Notice for businesses we contact

You are reading this because we found your business in a public register and may have contacted you.

DRAFT. This text is a starting point and has not been checked by a solicitor. Replace the square-bracket items and have it reviewed before the site goes live.

Who we are

[Registered business name], trading as sk0ut Group, [postal address], Bridgend, Wales ([company number, or "sole trader"]). Contact: thomas.michael.rees@gmail.com.

What we hold

Business details from public sources: business name, address, registration or company number, the type of service, number of places, registration date, and the names of directors or responsible individuals where these are published. [Confirm exactly which fields you store.] We do not collect special category or criminal records data about these people, and we do not pass individuals' names to our customers.

Where it came from

  • Care Inspectorate Wales (via DataMapWales), under the Open Government Licence.
  • Companies House public register.
  • Council planning registers (for example, a planning application to open or extend a care home).
  • Your own website or public business pages, if we looked you up.

Why we use it

To identify care providers that are new or may be expanding, so that recruiters who subscribe to Recruitment Leads can offer them staffing help. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests. We have written down our reasoning (a legitimate interests assessment) and can share a summary on request.

How we contact you

We email limited companies, LLPs and public bodies at business addresses, identifying ourselves and offering an easy opt-out. We do not email sole traders or ordinary partnerships without their consent, because the law treats them like individuals. We screen telephone numbers against the TPS and CTPS before any marketing call.

Who sees it

Subscribers to Recruitment Leads see business details and the signal that flagged them (for example "new registration"). They are responsible for their own lawful use, set out in our Leads terms.

Opt out and your rights

Email thomas.michael.rees@gmail.com to be removed from our marketing and from lead lists. We will keep your details on a suppression list so that we do not add you again. You can also ask to see, correct or delete data, or object to its use. We review these records at least every 12 months. You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
